Pagid RS4-2-1

A carbon-based high performance road compound with a medium friction level, also suitable for light track use, RS4-2-1 was designed as the ultimate user friendly road material to satisfy the demands of prestige sports car manufacturers such as Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati. Capable of driving effectively around town with low noise and control, then capable of stopping the same vehicle from 200mph on the test track.

The material is also suitable for light track use, but if serious regular track use is planned we recommend the use of a higher specification race material such as RS4-2, RS14, or RS29.

RS4-2-1 exhibits good wear characteristics and is also very easy in terms of disc wear and low brake dust. The perfect combination of low temperature performance, good initial bite, low disc wear and user friendliness for high performance road use.

This compound also benefits from the addition of a special coating on the friction surface which assists with the initial bedding-in stage, disintegrating during the first few brake applications without any loss of performance normally associated with green fade. As part of the PAGID Sport pad range, most pads come with anti-noise shims and piston clips and similar hardware fitted to the pads.
