Finishing Work

Here we have a car where the customer had done the majority of the work but needed some professional help to finish it off.

Our customer had other jobs in mind when he came in but when he saw the door bars that we had just fitted to a Mk1 Escort he wanted the same!		We added gussets between the cage and the shell on the A- and B-Pillars.	We added a harness bar and increased the roll cage strength by adding gussets.

We fitted wider arches which can be difficult to fit properly.	The engine wasn't sitting level with off-the-shelf engine mounts, so we fabricated our own.	We also fitted chassis skids. This car was destined for the forrests and the skids prevent the chassis rails from being damaged by rocks etc when the car is going sideways.
