Carby
is a line that originated strictly as racing exhausts made using only
hand workmanship. It is made of 100% stainless steel and carbon and
features a cylindrical cross-section. The couplings among the different
elements are checked accurately and optimized to achieve uniform gas
flow. The assemblies are made with templates using manual TIG and
MIG welding processes, whereas the bushings that couple the cylinder
are made of solid machined metal. The Carby exhausts are available
either as a muffler that can be adapted to the original manifold or
as a complete kit. The mounting device can be selected in either the
high- or low-position version. Improved performance can also be obtained
simply by replacing only the end section, while also achieving a significant
decrease in weight. |
